Hawally & Jabriya

Hawally vs Jabriya studio: which should you book?

Both studios run the same services, the same pricing, and the same team standards — so the honest answer is that the choice comes down to hours and convenience, not quality. Here's how they actually differ.

Hawally: our original studio, daytime hours

Hawally is where Photokina started in 1998, located at Al-Andalus Complex. It's open 10AM to 6PM — well suited to morning and afternoon bookings, and it's the studio with the longest track record of any of our locations.

Jabriya: longer hours, both ends of the day

Jabriya opens earlier, at 9AM, and stays open until 9:30PM — the widest window of either location. That makes it the better pick if you want the very first morning slot, or an evening session after work or school.

When Hawally makes more sense

If you're already in or near Hawally, or you'd rather book a daytime slot without evening scheduling, Hawally is the simpler choice.

When Jabriya makes more sense

If your schedule is tight during the day — work, school runs, other appointments — Jabriya's early and late hours give you far more flexibility to fit a session in without rearranging your whole day.

Either way, both are closed Friday

Both studios follow the same weekly schedule, open Saturday through Thursday and closed Friday.
